Colour Blocking

One of the major trends I love at the moment is colour blocking! Whether it be contrasting colours in one outfit or different bold shades of the same colour I just love love love! You can’t pick up a fashion magazine without seeing this trend on the catwalk or the red carpet. I’m dying to attempt this look but still wondering which way I’d like to go about it. I especially love the bold jewel tones a lot of the celebs have been wearing (as seen above). I’m hoping this trend sticks around for a while!

Hi my names Briony. I’ve wanted to start a fashion and style blog for a reeeally long time but just never had the lady balls to get around to doing it! Well finally here I am! I have a fashion and beauty obsession and in the next year I will be starting a fashion business course. I thought I would start documenting my trends, inspirations and tips. As my experience grows so will my blog.

My style:

I don’t shy away from bold stand out pieces. I love stockings with dresses, shorts and skirts. I’d say I have a very eclectic style. You can’t really categorise it into one type. I do buy quite often but I don’t spend too much on clothes. I buy expensive stand out pieces and spend less on staples. I also love op shopping.

My make up:
I love MAC for eyes, Illamasqua for base and YSL lipsticks. I don’t strictly purchase the more expensive make up brands I will buy more chain store brands too. I love winged eyeliner and red lips. I’m very pale and I love it so I tend to go for the pin up kind of make up quite often.

My hair:

I used to change my hair A LOT but now I’ve stuck with black. I have clip in extensions that I wear often but I’m starting to like my natural length so I’ve been wearing them less lately. I grew up with a hair dresser mum so hair is a big thing to me. I always use hairdresser brand products, and will eventually start doing reviews on different products too!
